About Don Wilton Ministries
Following decades of ministry around the world, and having served as a seminary professor and pastor for over 44 years, Dr. Wilton continues to be strongly committed to sharing God's word wherever he is invited to do so.
In addition to his extensive pastoral and preaching ministry, Don Wilton has invested significant time mentoring and encouraging men and women in ministry both on the mission fields of the world and in local churches.
For over two decades, he sat at the feet of Dr. Billy Graham as his very close friend and pastor, and has counted men like Dr. Charles Stanley and others as his closest mentors and friends. He is also an author, having written over thirteen books, including Saturday's With Billy, a personal account of his relationship with Billy Graham.
Following his ministry at the First Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC, Wilton and his wife, Karyn, established DON WILTON MINISTRIES, INC - in keeping with his continued determination to conduct ministry around the world in an accountable manner.
Genesis 12 : 1 - 4
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.
